It’s a bit odd, but there are 26 novels in the Jack Reacher series, so there’s probably a lot more to look forward to in later series. Writer Jim Grant says there are a few books that address how Reacher’s relationships with the people around him affect his loneliness and how he feels about the world, and it’s very likely that there will later be a series based on the more introspective Jack Reacher books.
