When Chevrolet introduced the Corvette C8, we proclaimed it “America’s mid-engine sports car for the masses” as the model cost $59,995 including destination.

That’s a distant memory as the 2024 Corvette now begins at $69,995 which is a full $10,000 more than the 2020 model. That’s a huge price increase in less than four years and the model recently shot up $2,100 thanks to a mid-year price increase, which was first spotted by GM Authority and appears to be across the entire C8 lineup.

The increase is broken up into two parts as the MSRP climbs by $2,000 while the destination fee jumps $100. Regardless, it adds up to a sizable increase especially when you consider the 2023 Corvette could be had for $65,895 back in May.
