The Ferrari 296 GTB has taken the Italian brand’s ‘entry-level’ mid-engine supercar recipe to new heights thanks to a hybridized V6 powertrain and its bold yet beautiful styling. It has proven so popular among supercar buyers that wait times are thought to be upwards of 2 years but there are some pristine, low-mileage used examples out there ready for collection today.

This particular 296 GTB has just been listed up for sale by Exotics Hunter in Boca Raton, Florida and is one of the most stunning examples we’ve come across. It does command a hefty premium, however.

Immediately making the car stand out is the gorgeous Azzurro California blue paint adorning the supercar’s exterior. We know that red is the classic Ferrari color but there are plenty of other more interesting paint options in the marque’s palette and this is one of them. It suits the shape of the 296 GTB perfectly and has been contrasted with gloss black wheels, yellow brake calipers, and yellow Scuderia Shields on the front fenders.

The listing notes that the paint was a $13,499 option and that it joins a host of other options. These include electric and ventilated seats ($8,437), the premium audio system ($6,243), suspension lift ($5,737), carbon fiber steering wheel ($5,062), and front and rear parking sensors ($1,519). The car had a sticker price of $378,141 and Exotics Hunter is asking $449,000 for it.

A look inside the cabin reveals that the ventilated seats are clad in plush black leather with yellow contrasting stitching and yellow Prancing Horses on the headrests, a $1,266 option. Yellow seatbelts are also visible as are a host of black Alcantara components.

As a refresher, the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 of the 296 GTB is supplemented by a pair of axial flux electric motors to produce a combined 819 hp and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm) of torque. Drive is sent through the rear wheels thanks to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and the 7.45 kWh battery pack gives it an electric range of around 16 miles (25 km).
