A low-mileage 2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta is being auctioned off by RM Sotheby’s at its Las Vegas event on November 17 and may sell for as much as $5.8 million.
Following the success of the original LaFerrari Coupe, the Italian car manufacturer decided it would also offer the hybrid hypercar with a removable hardtop. Whereas 499 Coupes were built, production of the LaFerrari Aperta was capped at just 210 examples and only those who owned a Coupe were eligible to buy it. Not many have hit the market since the car’s launch and as far as modern Ferraris go, few are as desirable as this.
This particular LaFerrari Aperta is thought to be one of the final examples built and was optioned with the available carbon fiber hardtop and carbon fiber exterior package. It also has the front lift system, diamond-cut FXX-K 10-spoke wheels, and had an original MSRP of nearly $2.3 million and is bound to sell for more than double that.

RM Sotheby’s notes the car has been driven just 2,072 miles (3,334 km) and that it was originally delivered to a client of Ferrari of Beverly Hills before passing through the hands of two private owners in Southern California. The seller purchased an extended two-year powertrain warranty for it in September 2023 and it is being sold with the canvas soft top, a battery charger, owner’s manuals, and the original set of five-spoke forged alloy wheels.
Adorning the exterior of the car is a shade of black dubbed Nero Daytona with Rosso accents. This black and red theme continues into the cabin with black leather on the seats contrasted with red stitching and piping.
RM Sotheby’s expects the car to sell for between $5.3 million and $5.8 million. That seems reasonable given that a LaFerrari Aperta driven just 161 miles (259 km) was sold for $5.36 million on Bring a Trailer last year.
