Ken Block was tragically killed in a snowmobile accident at the start of this year but just a few weeks prior, he and the Hoonigan team secretly filmed a new Gymkhana dubbed Electrikhana Two. This new film has just been previewed and will be released in full next month.

The first Electrikhana film, released in October 2022, was filmed in Las Vegas and starred the custom Audi S1 Hoonitron that Audi Sport built for the motorsport legend. Electrikhana Two also stars the S1 Hoonitron but was filmed in Mexico City. While this preview is only short, it shows Block demonstrating his driving prowess in a number of famous locations, including Plaza de toros México, the world’s largest bullring that can seat over 40,000 people.

This latest and final video of Block in the long-running Gymkhana series also shows him sliding through various city streets, roundabouts, bridges, and a tunnel.

While the Hoonitron doesn’t produce the same intoxicating rumble of some of his other Gymkhana cars, like the Hoonicorn and Hoonitruck, it is still a very special creation. It is underpinned by an 800-volt electrical architecture and has two motors from a Formula E race car, providing it with 2,212 lb-ft (3,000 Nm) of torque at each axle. It is also equipped with four small battery packs to ensure it can be rapidly charged at a moment’s notice and ready for the next stunt.

Audi Sport built the one-off at its facility in Neckarsulm, Germany and Audi design boss Marc Lichte led the team that crafted the stunning bodywork. The Hoonitron takes inspiration from the Audi Sport Quattro S1 which raced at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in the 1980s.
