Lucid is gearing up to introduce the Gravity SUV at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this week and it could eventually be joined by a pickup.

Seen here in a picture posted on Lucid Forum, the full-size clay model embraces styling themes we’ve previously seen on the Air and Gravity. In particular, we can see minimalist headlights and a familiar front bumper.

They’re joined by plastic body cladding and streamlined bodywork. We can also see a rakish windscreen that seemingly flows into a glass roof thanks to a black band that effectively connects the two. The truck also has a fairly traditional bed, which presumably measures around six feet (1,829 mm) long.

Lucid Pickup Truck Clay Model May Hint At Upcoming Cybertruck Rival

Lucid hasn’t said much about the truck, but previous presentations have called for the company to offer an assortment of different models by 2030. Besides the Air and Gravity, these are slated to include a coupe and pickup as well as “premium” sedans and SUVs.

Little is known about them, but presentations have suggested one of the aforementioned models could arrive as early as 2025. However, plans may have changed as the Gravity isn’t slated to begin production until late 2024.

While the timing remains up in the air, the truck will face a number of competitors when it finally arrives. Besides the Tesla Cybertruck and Rivian R1T, it will have to battle the Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra EV, Ford F-150 Lightning, and Ram 1500.
