Every once in a while, a new supercar or hypercar comes along that pushes the performance envelope to new heights. The Aston Martin Valkyrie is one of those cars and the ultimate version of it, the AMR Pro, is just about as extreme as track-only creations come.

The British carmaker is building just 40 examples of the Valkyrie AMR Pro, making it significantly rarer than the 150 road-going Coupes being built and the 85 Spider models on the cards. One of these rare AMR Pros has just been listed up for sale through RM Sotheby’s in Dubai and seems set to quickly sell for what will likely be an extraordinary sum.

This Valkyrie AMR Pro has only been driven twice by its original owner, once during the factory-assisted shakedown at the Bahrain International Circuit and once at a private track day earlier this month. Curiously, the listing doesn’t state exactly how many miles the car has on the clock but notes that it is VIN #08 of the 40 units being built and was comfortably setting lap times in the 1:48 range at the Bahrain circuit. To put that into perspective, the best time set by the Toyota GR010 Hybrid prototype during the 2022 8 Hours of Bahrain was a 1:50.125.

The exterior of the Valkyrie AMR Pro is finished in a stunning shade of purple that looks absolutely superb. Like all other examples, the exterior is loaded with carbon fiber elements, including the massive front splitter, the rear wing, rear diffuser, and the roof scoop. Heck, even the wheels have carbon fiber aero discs to aid in the aerodynamics.

Found inside the cabin of the car are dark blue Alcantara padding for the seats, racing harnesses, and matte carbon fiber across virtually every single surface. This really is as extreme as car interiors get and isn’t far removed from the cabin of a legitimate prototype race car.

The AMR Pro relies on the same 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine found in the standard street version of the Valkyrie, although it ditches the hybrid components. This powerplant cranks out 1,000 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque, all while maintaining an astonishingly low weight of just 1,006 kilograms (2,218 pounds), shedding about 300 kilograms (662 pounds) compared to the standard model.
