The 2025 Volvo EX90 will be priced from $76,695 when it’s launched in the United States next year.

Kicking things off is the EX90 Twin Motor Plus, which has Thor’s Hammer LED headlights, gloss black accents, and 20-inch alloy wheels. The crossover also comes equipped with rain sensing wipers and a fixed panoramic glass roof.

Moving inside, there’s a 9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch infotainment system with Google built-in. The latter display has a portrait orientation as well as wireless Apple CarPlay.

Putting screens aside, buyers will find eight-way power front seats, heated front and rear seats, and a power folding third-row. They’re joined by a head-up display, a wireless smartphone charger, and a 14-speaker Bose audio system. Other niceties include a heated steering wheel, wood trim, Nordico upholstery, and a four-zone automatic climate control system. A seven-seat configuration comes standard, but second-row captain’s chairs are available for an additional $500.

On the safety front, there’s a host of driver assistance systems including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning / Lane Keeping Assist, and a Blind Spot Information System with Steer Assist. Other standard features include Cross Traffic Alert with Autobrake, Occupant Sensing, Road Sign Information, and a collision warning system that can detect vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists. There’s also a next-generation Pilot Assist system that uses Lidar.

Customers looking for something more luxurious can opt for the $81,045 EX90 Twin Motor Ultra. It has a fancier exterior with soft-close doors, laminated side glass, puddle lights, and larger 21-inch wheels.

Additional changes are limited, but the Ultra comes equipped with an air suspension and massaging front seats. Buyers will also find exclusive options such as wool blend upholstery and a $3,200 Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system with 25 speakers.

Both trims are equipped with a 111 kWh battery that feeds a dual-motor all-wheel drive system producing 402 hp (300 kW / 408 PS) and 568 lb-ft (769 Nm) of torque. This setup enables the crossover to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 5.7 seconds, hit a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h), and travel up to 300 miles (483 km) on a single charge. It’s also worth noting the crossover has a towing capacity of 4,850 lbs (2,200 kg).

Drivers with a need for speed can check out the EX90 Twin Motor Performance, which begins at $81,695 and climbs to $86,045 in Ultra guise.

While equipment appears to carryover from the regular model, the Performance variant has an upgraded dual-motor powertrain with 496 hp (370 kW / 503 PS) and 671 lb-ft (909 Nm) of torque. Thanks to the extra oomph, the dash to 60 mph (96 km/h) falls to 4.7 seconds. Volvo also said the crossover should have a range of up to 300 miles (483 km).

The EX90 will be built in South Carolina and production is slated to begin in the first half of 2024. Deliveries will then begin shortly thereafter.
