Genesis has cut the starting price for the all-electric G80 Electrified in the U.S. thanks to the introduction of a new entry-level version dubbed the Advanced.

The new version of the luxurious sedan is available for $75,570, including a $1,195 delivery fee. This represents a $5,380 saving over the starting price of the 2023 model that was sold exclusively in Prestige guise. For 2024, the Prestige now represents the flagship model and it too has seen a price cut and now starts at $80,320, representing a saving of $630.

Both the Genesis G80 Advanced and Prestige feature the same powertrain, consisting of an 87.2 kWh battery pack and a pair of electric motors that deliver a combined 365 hp. The electric luxury sedan can travel up to 282 miles (454 km) on a single charge.

Among the key features enjoyed by the G80 Advanced include heated and ventilated front seats, power front seats with four-way lumbar adjustment, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14.5-inch infotainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is also equipped with leather across the seats, a leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel, and a set of 19-inch wheels.

Those who cough up the extra $4,750 for the G80 Electrified Prestige receive Nappa leather across the seats, a surround-view monitor, a 12.3-inch 3D digital instrument cluster, and three-zone climate control.

While Genesis hasn’t revealed why it has cut prices, it likely has something to do with the facelifted 2025 G80 just debuting in Korea. The refreshed model looks largely identical to the outgoing car but has received several upgrades, the most notable of which is a new 27-inch OLED display that combines the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system into a single display, rather than the individual 12.3-inch and 14.5-inch displays of the outgoing model.
