How much do you need to purchase a pristine 2019 Porsche 935? Well, there is currently a low-mileage example up for sale in Hong Kong with an asking price of HK$14.6 million, or the equivalent of $1.86 million in the United States.

Porsche unveiled the modern version of the 935 a few years ago, basing it around the almighty 911 GT2 RS and limiting it to track use. While it is based around a road car, you’d have no idea that’s the case by looking at it as the bodywork is bespoke and takes inspiration from the original 935/78 that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

All of the new panels developed for the car are made from lightweight carbon fiber and this 935 has many of these carbon elements on display. These include the front splitter, the front air louvers, the wing mirrors, and the massive rear wing.

This car has been listed through Contempo Concept HK Motors and has only ever been driven a mere 51 km (31.6 miles). Those who had the chance to buy the 935 from the factory were offered the choice between eight different motorsport-inspired liveries. The original owner of this car has opted for an iconic Martini Racing livery where most of the body is painted in white but there are bright red accents and two different shades of blue across various panels.

A look inside the cabin of the car reveals that this is number 72 of the 77 units produced and that it has a single Recaro racing seat and a full roll cage. The 935 also rocks six-point Schroth Racing harnesses and a wooden gear selector knob.

As new, the 935 could be purchased for $1.048 million in the U.S. While this car’s asking price easily exceeds that, a figure of $1.86 million isn’t unreasonable considering a similar low-milage car sold in the U.S. recently for $1.626 million.
