Acura has opened the order books for the 2024 ZDX, its first all-electric vehicle. Interested customers will be able to reserve their new SUV, spec it as they like, and will receive a special Acura Energy Key Card, too.

First unveiled in August, the Acura ZDX is based on GM’s Ultium platform, and sits on a 102 kWh battery pack that will help owners go up to 325 miles (523 km) per charge. The A-Spec version starts at $60,000 and is hustled along by a single 340 hp (254 kW/345 PS) electric motor in the rear.

For buyers with a need for speed, the 2024 ZDX Type S will be the most powerful SUV Acura has ever produced. Thanks to a second motor at the front, the model makes 500 hp (373 kW/507 PS) and powers all-four wheels. It will be priced in the $70,000 range.

To help reel in all that performance, the model is equipped with 15.6-inch Brembo brake discs and six-piston calipers that are finished in yellow. A height-adjustable air suspension with performance-tuned adaptive dampers will help manage the EV’s weight through the corners.

In addition to reserving their place in the production run, customer who opt to order a ZDX will also be given an Acura Energy Key Card. Available as either a digital or physical card, the gift offers customer exclusive discounts, and access to Acura-sponsored events.

Energy Key Car holder will unlock events such as the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and the 2024 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, with VIP access to Acura Owner spaces and exclusive programming. In addition, they will get discounts on products from Topgolf and Bang & Olufsen, whose speakers will be used in the ZDX, in a first for Acura.

Best of all, clients who reserve their Acura ZDX today won’t have to wait long before they get their new SUV. Deliveries of the automaker’s first-ever EV are set to begin in early 2024.
