The Lamborghini Urus is set to undergo a facelift, coinciding with the introduction of a plug-in hybrid powertrain that’s anticipated to surpass the existing non-electrified setup in terms of power. Fortunately, owners of the Urus S and Urus Performante models can turn to Novitec for the opportunity to boost the performance of their twin-turbo V8 engines. Novitec also offers a range of visual and handling upgrades for these models.

Novitec is no stranger to the Urus, offering various tuning packages for the performance SUV since 2019. The latest additions to the lineup look very similar to the original, setting aside the slightly altered styling cues of the S and the Performante trims.

The most striking feature of Novitec’s Esteso bodykit is the fender extensions, which look like OEM parts, despite adding a width of 10 mm (0.4 inches) at the front and 12 mm (0.47 inches) at the back. These are combined with naked carbon bits on the splitter, side gills, and intake garnish, alongside an optional full-carbon hood, a larger diffuser, a roof spoiler, and a lip spoiler. Novitec’s aero components are not only for show, as the company claims they reduce front-axle lift at high speeds.

The wider stance of Novitec’s Urus S and Performante becomes even sportier with the help of the lowered suspension, bringing the SUV closer to the ground by 25 mm (1 inch). The same amount of lowering is available for the air suspension of the Urus S, effectively transforming it from an SUV into a hyper hatch.

As for the wheels, the tuner chose the NL5 design developed in collaboration with Vosen, measuring 23 inches in diameter and shod in performance rubber. Finally, the SUV’s quad tailpipes are finished in matte black and are said to offer a “more thrilling” sound.

The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine has been tuned to produce 771 hp (575 kW / 782 PS) and 1,032 Nm (761.2 lb-ft) of torque, which represents a significant increase compared to the 657 hp (490 kW / 666 PS) of the stock Urus Performante. Still, Novitec’s Urus is less powerful than ABT’s Lamborghini Urus Scatenato that makes 799 hp (596 kW / 810 PS).

According to Novitec, the Lamborghini Urus Esteso accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.1 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the stock model. Simultaneously, it achieves a slightly higher top speed of 311 km/h (193 mph) compared to the factory-spec Urus Performante’s 306 km/h (190 mph).

The body kit is available for the Urus, Urus Performante, and Urus S, making Novitec’s enhancements accessible to all.
