Aston Martin has commenced deliveries of the Valkyrie Spider and the owner of the first example in the UK has picked up the keys in the most epic way possible; by bringing along his Valkyrie Coupe and a classic DB5.

The manufacturer unveiled the droptop version of the Valkyrie in August 2021 and is building just 85 examples, making it even rarer than the coupe. This particular Valyrie Spider is finished in a relatively subtle British Racing Green and is nowhere near as outlandish as the yellow and red coupe that they also own.

YouTuber TFJJ had the opportunity to attend the special delivery event and joining the two Valkyries, as well as the DB5, was the owner’s Ferrari Daytona SP3. Contrasting the British Racing Green paint of the Valkyrie Spider are silver wheels and a plethora of exposed carbon fiber elements. Making it particularly special is the fact that it is number 007.

First Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider Delivered In The UK

Rather than installing the Valkyrie Spider with a complex retractable soft top, Aston Martin instead decided for a lighter removable carbon fiber panel. Given that the Valkyrie Coupe has gullwing doors, it was also forced to move to a set of dihedral-hinged butterfly doors for the Valkyrie Spider.

No changes have been made to the car’s powertrain. As such, it retains the Cosworth-developed 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 with 1,001 hp and is supplemented by an electric motor and battery system. All up, the car delivers 1,134 hp and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. It can hit over 217 mph (350 km/h) with the roof in position and 205 mph (330 km/h) with it removed.

Customer deliveries of the Valkyrie Spider were originally scheduled to begin in the second half of 2022 but were delayed until 2023.
