It could be argued that the debut of the C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has somewhat diminished the appeal of the Ford GT, making it seem massively overpriced by comparison. Nevertheless, there remains significant demand for the mid-engined and in March, a particularly sleek example will be offered up for auction by Mecum.

This Ford GT is one of the 20 Studio Collection series models introduced for the 2021 model year and is a one-owner car that has been driven just 753 miles (1,211 km). It is number 3 of those 20 and is painted in Frozen White with Ingot Silver graphics.

While there are plenty of other GTs out there with more colorful paint finishes, this one is bound to appeal to a broad array of collectors and enthusiasts and should attract plenty of attention during the auction held in Glendale, Arizona.

Complementing the exterior paint finish are 20-inch Satin Diamond Silver wheels and silver brake calipers. The car also features the gloss exterior carbon fiber package and an Akrapovic exhaust system.

Unlike the typical Ford GTs with their predominantly black interiors, this particular model stands out with numerous white accents adorning the seats and dashboard. Considering the remarkably low mileage on this American supercar, it’s no wonder that the cabin retains its pristine appearance, just as it did when it rolled off the assembly line at Multimatic’s Canadian factory.

As a 2021 model, the car features a 3.5-liter EcoBoost twin-turbocharged V6 rated at 660 hp and driving the rear wheels through a Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

A look at auction results in recent months shows that second-generation Ford GT models continue to trade hands for between $1 million and $1.2 million so this one will likely fetch a similar amount.
