Fiat has embraced the idea of limited edition “product drops” in a desperate attempt to generate buzz. While the strategy is enough to make your eyes roll, the company is undoubtedly going to attract attention thanks to a collaboration with Jennifer Lopez.

The duo originally teamed up in 2011 to promote Fiat’s return to America. The period since then might as well be known as the ‘lost decade’ as Fiat floundered, shed a majority of its lineup, and sold a laughable 605 units in the United States last year.

That’s not exactly the kind of history people want to embrace, but Fiat is shrugging it off and teaming up with J.Lo once again. As part of the effort, the new 500e product drop will be featured in the music video for “Can’t Get Enough.”

The special edition is also being previewed in a short teaser, which features the old 500C as well as a copper-colored 500e. Fiat isn’t saying much about the car at this point, but it’s their second product drop in the U.S. and it will go up for order on March 12.

Fiat 500e Review: A Stylish EV But At What Cost?

Like the (500e)RED, the latest special edition will likely have a 42 kWh battery pack that powers an electric motor developing 118 hp (88 kW / 120 PS) and 162 lb-ft (219 Nm) of torque. This setup enables the hatch to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 8.5 seconds and travel around 149 miles (240 km) on a single charge.

We can expect to learn more about the special edition shortly, but the original had a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system. However, it was a tough sell as pricing started at $32,500 before a $1,595 destination fee.
