Hyundai has announced pricing for the 2024 Elantra N in the United States and while it is slightly more expensive than the car it replaces, it still represents excellent value for money.

A pricing guide released by Hyundai reveals that the 2024 model will set back shoppers $34,850 including destination, representing an $835 increase over last year’s model. This means the new car undercuts the Toyota GR Corolla priced from $35,595 and sits well below the $45,890 starting price of the Honda Civic Type R.

2024 Hyundai Elantra N Gets Updated, Still A Bargain At $34,850

A host of improvements have been made to the 2024 Elantra N. The most obvious of these changes is the thoroughly revised front fascia with new headlights, a revised grille, and reshaped air intakes. Hyundai has also altered the rear of the hot sedan with a new bumper.

While the updated model is a facelift, it benefits from some mechanical changes too. For example, Hyundai has fitted new engine mounts to reduce vibrations, updated the steering system, and fitted urethane bushings to the rear suspension mounting points. Changes have also been made to the dampers and stability control system while Hyundai also now fits the car as standard with 19-inch forged alloy wheels that save 33 lbs of unsprung weight.

Like the model it replaces, the 2024 Elantra N is offered with a six-speed manual and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The stick shift model is the one that starts at $34,850 while the dual-clutch is pricier at $36,350 including destination. Shoppers can order the new car in either Abyss Black, Ultimate Red, Intense Blue, Cyber Gray, Performance Blue, or Atlas White.

Power comes courtesy of a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 276 hp and 289 lb-ft (392 Nm) of torque, all of which is sent through the front wheels.
