Novitec has finally completed the tuning program for the Ferrari 296 GTB, offering a full range of visual, chassis, and performance upgrades for the plug-in hybrid supercar.

The exhaust and chassis modifications for the Ferrari 296 GTB were first announced last year, so we’ll start with the discreet bodykit that was recently added to Novitec’s catalog. Unlike some other aftermarket components that are too flashy and overstyled, Novitec’s carbon fiber add-ons for the 296 look like it was designed from the factory.

Highlights include a two-piece splitter, sculpted side skirts, intake garnish, mirror caps, a diffuser, and a matching ducktail spoiler. The latter does a great job blending with the sexy lines of the electrified model. Still, if this is not your cup of tea you can opt for a more discreet lip spoiler. Besides adding style, Novitec suggests that the aforementioned aero parts help increase downforce at high speed.

The tuner offers a full carbon engine bay so you can show off in style. There are also many different options for the tailpipes of Novitec‘s high-performance exhaust system. These can be left stock, or adopt numerous different finishes like stainless steel, matte carbon, or 999 fine gold plating.

The exhaust system – made from stainless steel or Inconel – can be optionally combined with actively controlled butterfly valves making the Ferrari sound more brutal than ever. At the same time, together with sports catalytic converters and revised turbo inlets for the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6, they are responsible for the power upgrade. More specifically, Novitec’s 296 has an extra 38 hp (28 kW / 38 PS) compared to stock, increasing the combined output of the plug-in hybrid system to 867 hp (638 kW / 868 PS).

The Ferrari 296 GTBs in the photos ride on NF11 wheels, which were developed in collaboration with Vossen. The rims measure 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the back, are available in 72 different shades, and come with special hub covers reminiscent of a center lock design.

As for the suspension, owners can opt for the multi-adjustable stainless coilovers, or the more traditional sports springs. Both options bring the Ferrari closer to the ground by up to 35 mm (1.4 inches) and are said to improve its handling capabilities. Finally, a hydraulic front lift system helps with usability, raising the nose by 40 mm (1.6 inches) on demand.
