Following the footsteps of Ferrari’s Tailor Made program, Maseratin is using the mid-engined MC20 Cielo as a canvas to show off its numerous personalization options. The “Opera d’Arte” is a one-off build created by Maserati Fuoriserie, featuring an art-inspired livery with geometric patterns and a matching configuration for the cabin.

The multi-color treatment combines blue, white, cyan, red, black, and yellow shades, using abstract graphics reminiscent of “Geometric Abstraction” – an art movement from the early twentieth century. In other words, the Opera d’Arte would be a fitting ride for acclaimed Dutch painter Piet Mondrian – if he was still around.

Maserati designers took the time to tweak the large Trident emblem that usually sits on the rear deck of the MC20 Cielo, transforming it into an abstract art piece. Even the tri-spoke 20-inch birdcage wheels have been painted accordingly, with each one featuring a different color combination. Inside, there is a similar treatment for the lower part of the dashboard, blue Alcantara upholstery for the bucket seats and the steering wheel, plus a funky “Opera d’Arte” badge.

There are no changes under the skin of this special MC20 which features the stock twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 dry-sump Nettuno engine, producing 621 hp (463 kW / 630 PS) and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of torque. Note that in 2025, the supercar will also become available with a fully electric powertrain, adopting the Folgore moniker.

The Maserati Fuoriserie program was announced back in 2020 and became available to North American customers in 2022. Personalization options range from bespoke finishes for the bodywork, wheels, and calipers, to optional carbon fiber bits, unique interior accents, and even custom-designed body panels for customers with deep pockets.
