The new Q2 comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a larger 8.8-inch infotainment system

The Audi Q2 is reportedly living on borrowed time, but that hasn’t stopped the company from updating their entry-level crossover.
As part of a mid-year makeover, the Q2 is receiving a “comprehensive technology upgrade” that aims to make the crossover feel more modern. That’s a welcome development and one that will see the model outfitted with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster as well as an 8.8-inch infotainment system.
These are big upgrades as the crossover previously came equipped with analog gauges and a 7-inch display. An 8.3-inch infotainment system was optional, so having a standard 8.8-inch display is a significant improvement.

Audi added the digital instrument cluster has a bright, full HD display that offers a wide range of customization. The infotainment system, on the other hand, is “highly responsive” and has speech recognition technology as well as connected features such as remote door unlocking. It’s also worth mentioning the infotainment system’s rotary controller has been jettisoned and replaced by a new storage compartment.

Additional changes are limited, but Audi said the crossover has a new steering wheel and additional standard safety features. The latter include lane departure warning, rear park assist, and traffic sign recognition technology.
The updated Q2 will be launched in the first half of 2024 and German pricing starts at €28,600. An assortment of engines will be available including a 1.0-liter three-cylinder with 114 hp (85 kW / 116 PS), a 1.5-liter four-cylinder with 148 hp (110 kW / 150 PS), and a 2.0-liter TDI with 148 hp (110 kW / 150 PS).
