Italian coachbuilder Touring Superleggera has unleashed another iteration of its Arese RH95 supercar. This time, they’ve given it the name “Vento D’Oro,” which translates to “Golden Wind” for those not fluent in Italian. This handcrafted, Ferrari-based special boasts some intriguing details, including gold leaf accents adorning its white body. Because, after all, what’s a million-dollar ride without a hint of (tasteful, hopefully) ostentatious flair?

The supercar retains the custom-built carbon fiber bodywork from the original Arese RH95, which made its debut in 2021. Although Touring Superleggera hasn’t explicitly disclosed the identity of the “well-known exotic, mid-engine donor car” for the Arese RH95 series, the specifications and interior strongly suggest it could be based on the Ferrari 488 or perhaps a hybrid of components from the 488 and F8.

What distinguishes the Vento D’oro is its fresh livery, taking cues from the hues of the desert. The White Morning Frost exterior hue is complemented by abundant vibrant Gold Leaf accents. Genuine gold has been applied by hand on various body panels, covering the entire rear fascia. Additionally, the custom 20-inch wheels sport a dual-tone finish, matching the glossy black splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser.

The interior continues the theme, featuring gold accents on white leather and Alcantara upholstery. While the close ties to Ferrari are unmistakable, Touring Superleggera has left its mark with custom interior panels, such as the redesigned climate vents and the exquisite separator on the center console.

The finishing touch is the golf plaque under the hood, surrounded by the signatures of the craftsmen who worked on the car. The numbering indicates that this Arese RH96 is the fifth of the 18 examples slated for production. Naturally, Touring Superleggera offers customization options, allowing owners to tailor their car with preferred exterior, interior, and performance modifications.

According to Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, its artisans dedicate 5,000 hours to each car, underscoring the meticulous attention to detail inherent in these bespoke coachbuilt projects. Additionally, interior specialist Dtales Milano collaborated on applying the gold leaf accents in this specific build, guaranteeing a flawless finish.

The Arese RH95 measures 4,782 mm (188.3 inches) long, 1,982 mm (78 inches) wide, and 1,259 mm (49.6 inches) tall, which makes it slightly bigger than the donor car. The mid-mounted twin-turbo V8 engine makes 661 hp (493 kW / 670 PS) and 760 Nm (561 lb-ft) of torque, proving that it’s sourced from a 488 GTB. Note that the previous iterations of the RH95 used a stronger V8 with 710 hp (530 kW / 720 PS) from the 488 Pista and the F8 Tributo.

Power is transmitted to the rear axle via a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission. The 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint is completed in 3 seconds flat, while its top speed is listed at 330 km/h (205 mph), matching the performance credentials of the Ferrari 488 GTB.

The Touring Arese RH95 Vento D’Oro joins a line of special editions, following the Grigio Artico spec introduced last year. While the company hasn’t disclosed the cost of this gold-themed variant, the Arese RH95 had a starting price of €1.58 million ($1.72 million), inclusive of the donor car’s cost.
