As the sun sets on its four-year run, the Hemi-powered Wrangler is revving down the road to retirement. For its final model year, 2024, Jeep will wave goodbye to the model with the Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition, but only 3,700 lucky and well-heeled individuals will be able to get their hands on one.

You see, the special edition has an eye-watering MSRP $99,995 or $101,890 including the $1,895 destination charge. For that kind of cash, the new model will offer buyers a number of standard extras, including Final Edition-exclusive decals on the hood and fender vents, as well as a swing gate plaque and a specially monogrammed medallion on the shifter.

On the inside, you’ll find black Nappa leather-trimmed seats adorned with exclusive Mayan gold stitching and Tupelo highlights sprinkled throughout. Step outside and you’ll see the bronze, 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, dressed up with 35-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires.

Those wheels work with the Mopar heavy-duty rock sliders and the half-inch suspension lift to deliver impressive off-road performance. Thanks to them, the Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition gets 11.6 inches of ground clearance, and can ford through 34.5 inches of water.

A Mopar triple look grille guard helps protect the SUV from the brutality of off-roading. If the Wrangler gets stuck somewhere its big V8 engine can’t extract it from, the Final Edition model comes equipped with an 8,000-pound (363 kg) Warn winch.

The engine should be capable of getting you out of most situation, though. The 6.4-liter Hemi V8 makes 470 hp (350 kW/477 PS) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque, which is enough to get the Wrangler Rubicon 392 up to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and through the quarter-mile in 13 seconds flat. Moreover, it comes with a 48:1 crawl ratio and torque converter locking strategy that allow it to crawl up and down steep slopes at engine idle speeds.

“Jeep Wrangler 392 remains atop the mountain in terms of all-out performance, power and unmatched capability,” said Bill Peffer, senior VP of Jeep brand – North America. “These are game-changing strengths that our most impassioned Jeep enthusiasts asked us for.”

Jeep plans to allocate 3,300 of the Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Editions to eager American customers, with our Canadian neighbors snagging 300, leaving a mere 100 for the rest of the world to covet. If you’re not deterred by the $100k price tag, you’ll be happy to know that orders are officially open.
