The 2025 Kia EV6 has been spied with a new front fascia and updated lighting units

Hyundai recently unveiled the facelifted Ioniq 5 and now Kia is putting the finishing touches on the 2025 EV6. It’s expected to debut later this year with revised styling and an upgraded powertrain.
While Kia is staying tight-lipped, spy photographers caught the current model being tested alongside its facelifted counterpart. This makes the changes much easier to see and the prototype features an all-new front fascia with triangular headlights. They’re partially obscured by camouflage, but appear to echo those found on the EV5.
The bumper is heavily disguised, but it has an evolutionary design and a revised intake. Details are hard to make out, but things look a little more cohesive this time around.
The rest of the design largely carries over, but we can expect similar updates out back. While the camouflage does a good job of hiding the changes, we wouldn’t be surprised to find a new bumper and updated taillights.
Spy photographers haven’t gotten a good look inside, but the model is expected to follow in the footsteps of the Ioniq 5 and adopt a new infotainment system. It’s slated to place a greater emphasis on over-the-air updates as well as offer video and music streaming. We can also expect improved performance as well as natural language voice recognition technology.
Speaking of performance, the 77.4 kWh battery pack will likely be replaced by one with an 84 kWh capacity. This should increase the range by approximately 17 miles (27 km). That’s a slight improvement and the additional capacity shouldn’t impact the car’s fast charging times.
Besides the updated powertrain, we can expect improved ride comfort and quietness. In the facelifted Ioniq 5, the model sports new shock absorbers and additional sound deadening material. The car also benefits from new and improved driver assistance systems.
