Lamborghini just recalled 22 Huracans from the 2024 model year over malfunctioning headlights. According to the automaker, a configuration step was missed during production, causing the problem.
In mid-February, Lamborghini found that several vehicles had undergone an internal rework. During that rework, a configuration step was missed and as a result, the high-beam headlights don’t come on when requested. By March 14, the automaker had a clear picture of which cars are affected, and what it’ll need to do to fix them.
According to the company, a simple pre-delivery inspection will uncover the issue. In those cases, the dealer will have the issue corrected before delivery. All dealers will be notified by April 19, 2024. Lamborghini adds that it’s unaware of any complaints or crashes associated with this problem. It also says that the issue didn’t affect regular production.

Concerned 2024 Huracan owners can contact their local dealer or search the NHTSA database with their VIN number. Those with the Lamborghini app could end up getting a notification there first.
This is not the first headlight-related issue Lamborghini had with the Huracan. Back in early 2022, it recalled 4,796 examples because they didn’t have blanking caps over the headlight adjustment screws, which made it possible to adjust the headlights on the horizontal plane.
In December 2023, Lamborghini recalled 7,805 Huracans because they allow horizontal alignment changes. What’s interesting is that those changes are available in the infotainment system. Known as “Tourist Mode”, the system enables a driver to swap the headlight pattern for driving on the other side of the road. That flips the beam pattern in a way that won’t blind oncoming drivers and will illuminate the road optimally.
