  • Mansory’s latest project is based on the Vespa Elettrica.
  • Carbon fiber, cross-stitched leather, and a custom livery with Monaco colors are the highlights.
  • Mansory will offer a limited number of 99 scooters for an undisclosed price.

When you hear Mansory and Monaco Edition in the same sentence, you’re probably picturing a flashy hypercar with carbon fiber armor and wild color options. However, this time, Mansory chose a different kind of vehicle for its customization – the Vespa Elettrica scooter.

The Vespa Elettrica borrows its name and draws inspiration from the Mansory Ferrari 458 Spider Monaco Edition, which debuted in 2012 with its Enzo-inspired front end. As its name implies, this Italian scooter is fully electric and prioritizes urban mobility over high performance.

Despite the Vespa’s laid back demeanor, Mansory‘s take on the iconic scooter line includes more carbon fiber than what you’d expect to find on a superbike. The lightweight material adorns the front mudguards, the distinctive side panels with faux vents, the mirrors, the nose trim, and the accents surrounding the lighting units.

The Vespa’s seat bench boasts genuine leather upholstery with cross stitching, reminiscent of the bucket seats found in Mansory-tuned cars. The color scheme takes inspiration from Monaco, with red and white graphics adorning the scooter. Additionally, the traditional Piaggio and Vespa emblems have been replaced by Mansory branding.

Mansory Vespa Elettrica Monaco Edition

The tuner left the mechanical components of the Vespa Elettrica untouched. Therefore, the scooter maintains its stock rear-mounted 5hp electric motor, which enables a top speed of 70 km/h (45 mph). With options for Eco and Power driving modes, the electric two-wheeler can cover up to 100 km (62 miles) on a single charge. Fortunately, the 4.2 kWh lithium-ion battery can be fully charged in 4 hours using a 220V outlet.

Mansory’s Vespa Elettrica Monaco Edition will be produced in a limited run of 99 units, with pricing yet to be disclosed. Given Mansory’s asking price of €1,190 ($1,268) for a branded barrel seat with a leather-wrapped top, it’s safe to assume that the Monaco-themed scooter will come with a hefty price tag. For comparison, the standard Vespa Elettrica, introduced in 2017, currently retails for $7,999 before taxes in the U.S. market.
