A gorgeous 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4 by Pininfarina has just traded hands for €201,250 ($227,000) during an RM Sotheby’s auction.
This is one of just 500 units built between 1971 and 1972 and was delivered new in May 1972 in Italy. It was acquired by the seller, Monsieur Petitjean, in 1996 and has been well maintained through the years.

The listing reveals that the 365 GTC/4 by Pininfarina had 30,597 km (19,012 miles) on the clock when it crossed the auction block. It also states that the car will need mechanical recommissioning before it can return to the road.
Adorning the exterior of the Ferrari is a lovely shade dubbed Blu Ortis that looks great under showroom lights and we’re sure looks even better in the sun. It is also rocking a set of silver, five-spoke wheels and the front really stands out thanks to the yellow driving lights.
Found in the cabin is Pelle Nera Cologo leather upholstery across the seats, dashboard, and steering wheel. The cabin remains in its original condition and while it has some imperfections and shows some signs of wear, particularly on the seat bolsters, it is still in relatively good condition. Making this example all the more desirable is the fact that it has a numbers-matching engine, gearbox, and rear axle.
Powering 365 GTC/4 models like this is Ferrari’s iconic Colombo V12 that was built by the automaker between 1947 and 1988. It displaced 4.4-liters for use in the 365 GTC/4 and was coupled to a five-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels.
