TL;DR

  • A reliable leaker has shared a screenshot showing evidence for the Google Pixel Watch.
  • Interestingly, the watch — if it exists — is on an outdated version of Wear OS.
  • We’re going to need more substantial evidence before we believe this is really on the way.

However, even we can’t ignore when a very reliable leaker shares evidence of the so-called Google Pixel Watch. Today, Evan Blass tweeted a screenshot that does just that. The evidence is quite minor and vague, but it will likely be enough to keep the fire burning for the Pixel Watch hopefuls out there.

You can see the evidence of the watch below:

It’s unclear what this screenshot even is. You can see a broken JPG with the name “Google Pixel Rohan,” with “Rohan” being the long-assumed codename for the Google Pixel Watch. Next to that, you see another reference to “Rohan” and a drop-down menu referencing Wear OS 3.1

Interestingly, Wear OS 3.1 is not the newest version of the wearable operating system. Wear OS 3.2 launched as a developer preview in February and is already available on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series.

As we said, this isn’t the rock-solid evidence we would need to really think the Pixel Watch is coming soon — or even exists at all. However, it is another thing to add to the pile. Perhaps Google will finally have an announcement of some kind at Google I/O in May? let’s keep our fingers crossed!
