The Genesis G70 is a great sports sedan. However, since its launch a few years ago, it hasn’t proven to be all that popular to upgrade and modify through the aftermarket. This G70 is a little different.
Found on eBay (though sold by the time we published this story), this G70 is a 2019 model and has been outfitted with a number of modifications that make it stand out. The first thing that catches your eye with the car is the custom purple paint that suits the sedan perfectly.
Complementing the new paint scheme are flared front and rear wheel arches and a set of three-piece chrome wheels. A dizzying array of carbon fiber parts have also been fitted to the car, including the wing mirror caps, hood, side vents, side skirts, front splitter, rear lip spoiler, and rear diffuser. Further adding to the striking looks of the car is an air suspension system that means it can be dropped low when put on display.

A handful of performance alterations have also been made. The listing notes that car now has a stainless steel cat-back exhaust, catless downpipes, high-performance spark plugs, new fuel control wires, drilled and slotted brake discs with ceramic pads, and an aftermarket intercooler.
The owner has also invested a lot of time and money into the cabin of the Genesis. The most significant upgrades are found in the trunk where there is an audio setup with three amplifiers and two 8-inch subwoofers. The G70 also now features four 8-inch speakers and four new tweeters.
Much like the exterior, the interior is bathed in carbon fiber, although it is forged carbon and is found on the dashboard, A-pillars, instrument cluster, steering wheel, and center console. A Rolls-Royce-inspired starlight headliner has also been fitted.
Even if this G70 started out life as a 3.3T RWD Prestige model receiving a comprehensive and obviously costly overhaul, the $65,000 asking price may come to as a surprise to some as it’s roughly $12,000 more than the original MSRP.
