A few years back, Kia made a huge splash with the Telluride SUV. Now, it’s hoping to do the same thing with the EV9 all-electric SUV that’s coming later this year. A new document sent to Telluride owners might have leaked out all of the important specs about the upcoming three-row family hauler.

First reported by Electrek that obtained a customer survey sent to Kia owners by the automaker itself, it indicates what we might see in the EV9. According to the report, the survey asked those customers which of five trims they would be most interested in. There’s no way to know if these are exactly what the EV9 will ship with but here are the details.

The base level trim starts at $56,000 with 200 hp (149 kW), 250 lb-ft (338 Nm) of torque, and 220 miles of range. Above that is a trim priced at $61,000 with the same power but 290 miles of range. Both share 19-inch wheels but only the more expensive model offers a 2,000-pound (907 kg) towing capacity.

Above that, a trio of trim levels all gets a 400 hp (298 kW) powertrain but only the top-spec gets 480 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque while the other two make do with just 380 (514 Nm). The two with less torque feature a 3,500-pound towing capacity while the top trim has a 4,500-pound rating. According to the document, that same top trim has a 0-60 mph time of 5.2 seconds.

It’s worth noting that the top three trim levels are priced at $63,000, $68,000, and $73,000 respectively. Compare all of these specs to the other available three-row EV SUVs on sale or about to be on sale and they look pretty good. Probably the closest options are the Mercedes EQB and the Rivian R1S.

The German starts at about the same price but isn’t available with any more than 288 hp. The American rival makes a lot more power but starts at about $80,000. That puts the Kia EV9 in a great position should these specs be close to the final ones. We look forward to finding out later this year.
