Subaru introduced the redesigned Impreza at the Los Angeles Auto Show and now they’ve announced the model will start at $22,995 when it arrives at U.S. dealerships this summer.
Costing $3,200 more than its predecessor, the 2024 Impreza is available exclusively as a hatchback and features an evolutionary design with a larger grille that is flanked by standard LED headlights. Subaru didn’t release full details, but it appears the Base trim will ride on steelies as 16-inch alloy wheels are a $350 option.
Moving into the cabin, drivers will find two 7-inch displays. The top screen will be used for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well as the audio system and rearview camera. The lower screen, on the other hand, focuses on climate controls and vehicle settings.

Speaking of screens, drivers will find a 4.2-inch color display in the instrument cluster. Other features are more basic, but include a dual-zone automatic climate control system, keyless entry, and power windows / locks. They’re joined by a tilt and telescoping steering column, a split folding rear seat, and standard EyeSight driver assist technology.
Power is provided by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 152 hp (113 kW / 154 PS) and 145 lb-ft (197 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission and a standard all-wheel drive system.

Moving up the trim ladder is the $24,995 Impreza Sport, which features a sport-tuned suspension, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, and larger 18-inch alloy wheels with a dark gray finish. Other highlights include LED fog lights and a keyless access system with a push-button ignition.
The cabin sports a six-speaker audio system as well as an 11.6-inch infotainment system with a portrait orientation. Accompanying them is an upgraded instrument cluster, premium cloth upholstery with red contrast stitching, and a rear seat armrest with dual cup holders.
Buyers looking for more can get a $1,900 package that includes heated front seats as well as a power moonroof. The package also adds blind-spot detection with lane change assist and rear cross-traffic alert.

Bigger changes occur in the cabin as the RS features two-tone sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and alloy pedals. They’re joined by faux carbon fiber trim, gunmetal accents, and RS-branded floor mats. Rounding out the highlights are a wireless smartphone charger, heated front seats, blind-spot detection with lane change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency steering.
If that’s not fancy enough, a $2,070 package will add a 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a moonroof, and a 10-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support.
