Infiniti has issued a recall for QX60 models built between August 31, 2022 and September 2, 2022

A recall has been issued for the 2023 Infiniti QX60 in the United States due to a problem with the second-row adjustable seat. Fortunately for the car manufacturer, only a handful of vehicles are impacted.
Nissan says that certain QX60 vehicles may have the incorrect rear stopper distance on the seat track of the second-row adjustable seat. This means that it is possible to move the seat past the intended rear stopper point which could cause it to become stuck or fail to lock in position correctly.
Just 17 examples of the Infiniti QX60 are involved in the recall, all of which were produced between August 31, 2022 and September 2, 2022.
The car manufacturer first began to investigate the issue after a technician noticed a second-row seat was stuck in the rearmost position during a routine quality check on September 6, 2022. Nissan and its supplier found that a maintenance technician may have accidentally replaced the stopper forming tool with an improper part, meaning the second-row seat track stopper was incorrect.
Nissan is not aware of any warranty claims related to the issue.

Dealerships were notified of the recall on February 22 and owners of the 17 impacted QX60 models will be alerted from April 14. Dealers have been instructed to remove and replace the second-row seat free of charge. The repair should take less than 1 hour to complete.
