Dodge offers the Blacktop Special Edition for the Charger SXT RWD, SXT AWD, GT RWD, and GT AWD

Dodge is sending the current-generation Charger out in style for its final model year and in addition to the special ‘Last Call’ editions, has just introduced a new Blacktop Special Edition for the Charger.

First reported by Mopar Insiders, the package adds $2,995 to the price of Charger SXT RWD, SXT AWD, GT RWD, and GT AWD variants. While it’s certainly not cheap, it does bring with it a host of features that are sure to be welcomed by most Charger buyers.

For starters, it comes with 20×9-inch Low-Gloss Granite Crystal wheels on the GT RWD and 20×8-inch Black Noise wheels on the SXT RWD, SXT AWD, and GT AWD, all-speed traction control, a black performance spoiler, ‘GT” decklid badge, black exhaust tips, black Dodge badge on the grille, and a Blacktop Special Edition badge. Dodge also fits Brembo 4-piston calipers, a flat-bottom steering wheel, front splash guards, gloss-black instrument cluster trim rings, various carbon fiber accents throughout the interior, two-piece wheel center caps, black mirror caps, and satin black badges on the rear.

2023 Dodge Charger SXT RWD models with the Blacktop Special Edition package also come standard with sports suspension.

As with all 2023 Dodge Charger models, those equipped with the Blacktop Special Package come standard with a commemorative ‘Last Call’ plaque under the hood that also includes script reading ‘Designed in Auburn Hills’ and ‘Assembled in Brampton.’

The Dodge Charger you see pictured below is currently up for sale through Eastgate Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram in Indianapolis, Indiana and is finished in Sublime, a bright shade of green.

The emergence of this package comes shortly after Dodge teased the final Challenger Last Call special edition. Recent teasers have suggested the car will be able to run the quarter-mile in 8.99 seconds and have a 215 mph (346 km/h) top speed.
