The legendary McQueen name will be applied to the new-generation 2024 Ford Mustang. McQueen Racing and Steeda Performance Vehicles announced this week that they will continue their ongoing partnership, applying their efforts to the 2024 Mustang.
The Limited-Edition Series will start with the S650 Mustang and will provide racing enthusiasts with what the companies describe as an unparalleled driving experience. That will come thanks to unique equipment upgrades at competitive prices.
“Our relationship with Steeda has been remarkable over the years,” said Chad McQueen, the CEO of McQueen Racing and son of legendary actor Steve McQueen. “This new series of performance cars represents a significant advancement. We’re starting with the Mustang, and I can assure you it will be nothing short of exceptional. I’m incredibly thrilled.”

Although details on the vehicles remain secret for now, McQueen Racing and Steeda promise that the vehicles will make use of cutting-edge engineering and superior craftsmanship. That will include a “state-of-the-art” suspension system, improved brakes, and modified powertrain systems. On that score, buyers will have options, as the companies say that both supercharged and naturally aspirated versions will be available.
They add the Limited-Edition Series vehicles will come with distinctive exterior styling refinements. Although no details have been shared regarding the actual look of the car, in the past, the companies have collaborated on a few Bullitt Mustangs.

“This new project has been long in the making and will be monumental. Mustang enthusiasts should be excited because the best is about to get even better,” said Bob Adams, president of Steeda Performance Vehicles. “Moreover, this is just the beginning, as our product plans encompass other highly desirable, high-performance vehicle models.”
The first Limited-Edition Series models are expected to arrive later this summer. The vehicles will be sold exclusively through authorized McQueen Racing-Steeda Performance Vehicles dealers and will have a three-year/36,000 mile limited warranty.
