Germany’s Hofele-Design is updating its aesthetic improvement offerings for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class with what it calls the Evolution package. The exterior design kit adds more carbon, new design cues, and new lighting to its over-the-top SUV.

New for 2023 is a distinctive front-end redesign. This includes a novel front bumper made entirely of carbon fiber that features unique, hockey-stick-shaped daytime running lights that are integrated into the lower air inlets.

Also integrated into the design is the tuner‘s signature grille, which helps mark this out as more than a stock Mercedes. In the middle of it, a big Hofele badge can be found.

The new front modifications are designed to blend in seamlessly with the extended wheel arches that, in addition to making the G-Class look more aggressive, help accommodate Hofele’s exclusive 22-24-inch wheels. The arches are made out of carbon fiber at both the front and the back, and feature extended air vents.

In addition to the new front bumper, Hofele has also improved the rear bumper, giving it new, aggressive design cues with unique G-shaped styling frames. These, like all of the carbon fiber parts, can be ordered in a variety of finishes, including chrome, gloss black, or body color.

In addition to the new improvements introduced by the Evolution package, a number of Hofele’s original updates return. These include available reverse-opening rear doors and a patented full-length electric side step that features a moving exhaust tip designed specifically for the Mercedes-AMG G63.

Hofele has been modifying the Mercedes W463A G-Class since 2019, and has been in the automotive design business for more than 40 years. In 2018, the tuner became an authorized Mercedes-Benz partner. Unfortunately, Hofele has not yet revealed prices for the Evolution body kit, but you can read the full brochure here.
