Finding a low-mileage Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R that hasn’t been extensively modified is like finding a needle in a haystack. Well, a friend of CarScoops has found one, and as far as Skyline’s go, this one is quite extraordinary.

This particular Skyline GT-R is a desirable M Spec variant that has only ever covered 380 km (236 miles). That means the car has only been driven an average of 18 km (11 miles) for each of the past 21 years and no doubt makes it one of the lowest-mileage R34 GT-Rs on earth. It’s hardly a surprise then that the JDM icon is extraordinarily valuable and the selling Japanese dealer is asking 88.3 million yen for it, the equivalent of ~$610,000.

Nissan built just 366 examples of the R34-generation GT-R M-Spec and in recent years, it has become one of the more desirable variants. A handful of upgrades differentiated it from lesser Skylines such as the enlarged turbocharger with more boost pressure. Nissan even went to the trouble of equipping each one with a gold VIN plate.

This Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec Is Worth Over $600,000

Adorning the exterior is a color Nissan refers to as Silica Brass. It suits the car beautifully and still looks just as good now as it would have done back in 2002, fresh off the production line. Just 131 units were built in this color.

Interestingly, this isn’t the only low-mileage GT-R M Spec painted in Silica Bronze that we’ve seen over the past 12 months. Last year, one appeared up for auction in Japan with a 60 million yen starting price or $446,000 at the time. That car was listed as having 372 km (231 miles) under its belt and still had plastic over the seats and paper covers on the floor mats. Given that the GT-R M-Spec currently up for sale has all the same traits and just 380 km on the odometer, it’s possible it is the same car.
