This is the last call for any V8-powered Challenger or Charger, as Dodge prepares to end production of the cars before the end of the year

As this is written, buyers only have 14 more days to order a new Dodge Challenger or Charger with a Hemi engine. The automaker announced today that its dealers have been directed to submit all orders for the 2023 model year muscle cars by the end of July.
“For enthusiasts looking to order a Dodge Challenger or Charger, especially a high-horsepower model, such as the Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat or a special-edition model, it’s truly the last call for the ‘Last Call,’” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand CEO. “As we transition to an exciting, electrified muscle car future, we’re marking the end of an unforgettable era for Dodge, and time is running out for those who want to own a piece of it.”
In addition to the seven limited edition “Last Call” models that Dodge unveiled late last year, this will mark the end of customers’ ability to order any new Hemi V8 powered Challenger or Charger. Production of the cars is set to end no later than December 31, 2023.

Although all 2023 Chargers and Challengers will have a special “Last Call” plaque under the hood, just seven special editions are part of the official series of “Last Call” models. These include the historic Challenger Black Ghost, the 807 hp (602 kW/818 PS) King Daytona, and the 1,025 hp (764 kW/1,039 PS) Challenger SRT Demon 170, among others.
