Novitec’s tuned McLaren 765LT pumps out a casual 843 hp and includes some aerodynamic upgrades

We don’t envy those companies that set out to tune and improve supercars and all too often, these firms make garish and over-the-top changes that simply ruin a car. Novitec is not one of them.
When it comes to modifying supercars in an effective and subtle way, few do it better than Novitec and its package for the McLaren 765LT released a couple of years ago is particularly impressive. The kit includes a host of visual and aerodynamic changes while also amping up the performance.

The pictured Novitec 765LT was put together earlier this year by German outfit Fostla.de Concepts and includes a full suite of modifications from Novitec. These start up front where the McLaren has been outfitted with a slightly more aggressive front splitter and a new hood bathed in carbon fiber and with a design inspired by the hood of the McLaren Senna. The British supercar is also rocking naked carbon fiber headlight shrouds and rocks a prominent hood scoop.
A new set of forged wheels manufactured by Vossen measures 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. They are finished in gloss black and have a center-lock design. Fostla.de Concepts has then finished the car’s exterior with a military green wrap.
In terms of performance, Novitec’s 765LT upgrade package includes the installation of its plug & play ECU unit that allows it to change ignition, injection, and boost pressure. The car also benefits from a thermally insulated high-performance Inconel exhaust system. The changes boost power from the 765LT’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 from 754 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) to 843 hp at 7,400 rpm and 662 lb-ft (898 Nm) of torque at 6,300 rpm.
