Sony delayed the premiere of the Gran Turismo film by a couple of weeks but there’s a new update for the game that’s out right now. Version 1.36 brings new hallowed vehicles, new Cafe menus, and connections to the yet-to-be-released movie. Here’s a breakdown of what players can expect.

Kicking things off is a direct tie-in to the film where players can redeem a new free vehicle, the 2018 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 from the movie. In fact, it also opens up a new livery tied to the car from the film. It’ll be available starting on August 7, when the update goes live, and lasts through September 28.

Players also get access to four new cars and one is the 2021 Toyota Ambulance Himedic. The 2020s mark the seventh decade in which Toyota has built ambulances and this one features a 2.7-liter inline four-cylinder engine and a bunch of LED lighting.

The 2020 Maserati MC20 is also now on offer. Just as it does in real life, this mid-engine Italian supercar features a twin-turbocharged V6 and 621 hp (463 kW). It’ll do 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.8 seconds and rocket on to a top speed of 201 mph (323 km).

Then there’s the very first purely American sports car, the Chevrolet Corvette. This isn’t the first time that the Gran Turismo franchise has featured the C1 but it’s the first time that it’s done it with this level of detail. This time around it’s a 1958 model that players can enjoy with its quadruple headlights.

Finally, at least when it comes to new cars, is the 2022 Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition. Forget the fact that there are only 200 of these floating around the planet and dealers are price gouging Toyota customers over them. Anybody with GT7 can pick one of these up and hoon it to their heart’s content.

Update 1.36 also includes three new Cafe menus including Maserati, Aston Martin, and Kei Cars. A new Scapes photography location called Fire Station joins the ranks too. Which feature are you most excited about?
