Most professional race cars (with the obvious exception of rally cars) have just a single seat for the driver and no room for passengers. However, a talented automotive designer by the name of Zhe Huang has decided to imagine what a race car from Porsche could look like were it to be designed to have a driver’s seat and four passenger seats.
The creation is known as the Porsche Mission S and it has been imagined as a ‘Hyper Racing MPV.’ It has been designed to sit as low as a 911 but is 5,620 mm (221 inches) long and 2,100 mm (82.6 inches) wide, giving it a very unique profile and making it unlike any other race car we’ve seen before.

Two variants of the Mission S have been imagined. The first, finished in white, has a streamlined shape and would be best suited for race tracks with long straights and slow corners. The second, painted black, has a more obvious focus on downforce and rocks a massive rear wing and a diffuser to suck it to the pavement. The overall shapes of the two cars are the same.
The designer has pushed the front and rear axles to the extremities of the concept. This has allowed him to design a windscreen that stretches to just a foot behind the front grille, increasing cabin space. The driver would sit in the middle and at the front while positioned behind them are two large passenger seats and found in the third row are two smaller passenger seats. We’re particularly fond of the wheels that have been designed for the car as well as the streamlined ‘longtail’ that it has been given.
Obviously, a vehicle like this would not comply with any current racing series, and were it to be built, it would have to take part in a one-make series. But would you be brave enough to be a passenger?
