Lincoln’s future lineup is coming into focus as a new report says the Corsair will be killed, while the Aviator will be replaced by an EV

Lincoln’s electric future came to a crashing halt when the brand axed their first EV shortly after announcing it.
In early 2020, Lincoln revealed they were working on a Rivian-based model that would offer “effortless performance” as well as “connected and intuitive technology.” However, a few months later, the model was killed in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic as much of the world entered lockdown.
Despite the setback, the brand isn’t giving up on EVs as Automotive News reports a three-row electric crossover will likely debut in late 2025. The publication says it will be built at Oakville Assembly in Canada and be roughly the same size as the current Aviator.

Speaking of the Aviator, spy photographers snapped the facelifted model earlier this year. It will have an all-new front end that echoes the redesigned Nautilus. The changes will continue inside thanks to a lightly revised center console, updated switchgear, and an all-new infotainment system with Google built-in. More importantly, the model is slated to offer the ActiveGlide semi-autonomous driving system.
While the updated model should be introduced soon, the ICE-powered Aviator is reportedly living on borrowed time as the publication says it will be phased out by early 2026. However, its name might live on with the three-row EV.
Speaking of impending deaths, the Corsair will reportedly be killed in 2025. That could be a big blow as the current model starts at $38,730 and is the brand’s most affordable vehicle by a wide margin. In particular, the Corsair costs $11,685 less than the Nautilus.
At the opposite end of the lineup is the Navigator, which will reportedly be “redesigned in the first half of next year.” Its counterpart, the Ford Expedition, was recently spotted in Detroit and appears to be pretty evolutionary.
Little is known about the upcoming Navigator, but Automotive News says Lincoln doesn’t have plans to electrify the model. That’s interesting as Cadillac recently unveiled the electric Escalade IQ, which has 750 hp (559 kW / 760 PS) and a range of approximately 450 miles (724 km).
