One’s mind doesn’t often veer toward Slovenia when the topic of supercars arises, but Aljoša Tušek aims to alter that perception. The former racecar driver is currently manufacturing a duo of electrified hypercars that he firmly believes will leave a significant mark on the segment.

His company, Tushek, has just unveiled the Aeon, a brand-new custom-built high-performance vehicle that they claim will not merely compete but will “dominate” the hypercar market. It’s available with two powertrain options, both of which deliver impressive power-to-weight ratios.

The Aeon E represents the all-electric variant, boasting an astounding power output of over 2,500 hp (1,864 kW/2,535 PS). Furthermore, the car is stated to have a weight of 3,527 lbs (1,600 kg), resulting in an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 1.7:1.

Meanwhile, the Aeon H combines a V8 with an electric motor to create a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It generates nearly 600 fewer horses, but will still give drivers an impressive 1,930 hp (1,439 kW/1,957 PS). However, it tips the scales at just 3,263 lbs (1,480 kg), meaning that its power-to-weight ratio is even better than the all-electric model’s at 1.3:1.

Other performance factors, such as the Aeon’s “groundbreaking aerodynamics,” its performance specs, and more will be revealed over the coming weeks. Inside, Tushek says that the model will be focused on creating a custom experience for each buyer.

“Aeon heralds a new dawn in hypercar production, with personalization at the forefront. Each vehicle is individually tailored to its owner to create an unparalleled bond,” said Tušek. “Our launch concept allows customers to fully customize the interior of the vehicle. This sets us apart from other suppliers worldwide and ensures that each vehicle is truly unique.”

Not the company’s first attempt at creating a supercar, it previously made and sold the 937 hp (698 kW/950 PS) TS 900, which could hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.7 seconds. It will no doubt hope that its latest model is faster still.

A limited edition model, Tushek plans to reveal the Aeon’s production schedule at a later date.
