Tom’s Racing 2024 Toyota Alphard includes revised front and rear fascias and a set of 20-inch forged wheels

It’s only been four months since the new Toyota Alphard was presented to the world and already, prominent Japanese tuner Tom’s Racing has rolled out a series of modifications for the luxurious minivan.
As far as minivans go, the Toyota Alphard is one of the most dramatic-looking and has always had a unique presence on the road. The alterations launched by Tom’s Racing don’t completely overhaul the design and simply add some extra pizazz to it, starting at the front end where a new bumper has been designed.
This new bumper extends slightly lower than the standard one and has also allowed the tuner to make the front grille even larger. The bumper also incorporates new air intakes and fog light shrouds with a chrome finish.

The sides of the tweaked Alphard are also different thanks to a set of extended side skirts that have a piece of redesigned chrome trim. Forged 20-inch wheels have also been designed for the minivan with a multi-spoke design and a silver finish. Completing the upgrades is a new rear bumper and chrome tailpipes. Car Watch reports that Tom’s Racing is working on new underfloor bracing for the Alphard, a different roof spoiler, and special taillight garnishes.

It remains to be seen if Tom’s is planning any powertrain upgrades for the car. In standard guise, the 2024 Alphard rocks a 2.5-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder with 180 hp and mated to a CVT. Those seeking a little extra performance can order the Alphard with a 2.5-liter petrol hybrid with either a single electric motor or two electric motors that combine to pump out up to 247 hp. Toyota also plans to introduce a plug-in hybrid version of the Alphard in the not-too-distant future.
