The team from Ringbrothers is best known for restoring and modifying classic American muscle cars but it has done something very different for its latest build and created what could be the ultimate 1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II.

For this build, Ringbrothers set out to create the ultimate Rolls-Royce sleeper, dubbing it ‘Paramount.’ The project started with sourcing a custom chassis from Roadster Shop that has unique two-piece clamshell control arms and custom 10-gauge steel boxed frame rails. It then elected to remove the original engine and replace it with a 6.2-liter LT4 supercharged crate V8 with 640 hp at 6,400 rpm and 635 lb-ft (861 Nm) of torque at 3,600 rpm.

Obviously, the original transmission would have no hope of handling this much power so Ringbrothers bolted the LT4 to a Bowler Tru-Street 10-speed automatic and a carbon fiber driveshaft. The company hasn’t quoted any performance times for the overhauled Rolls-Royce but it could certainly scare some supercar owners. Other important mechanical upgrades are Fox RS SV coilovers and brakes from Baer that include six-piston calipers at the front and rear.

In an unusual move for Ringbrothers, no radical changes have been made to the exterior of the Silver Cloud II. In fact, it has simply received a fresh coat of ‘White as Fluff’ paint from BASF Glasurit Waterborn, has had the chrome parts refinished, and sits on custom 18-inch wheels mimicking those of the original and complete with gyro center caps to ensure the Rolls-Royce badge always remains upright. Wrapped around these wheels are Falken Azenis tires measuring 235/60 front and 255/55 at the rear.

Then we have the cabin. While it’s the new powertrain that’s going to turn the most heads at SEMA, the interior is particularly beautiful and was designed by Sean Smith Designs and put together by Gabe’s Custom Interior. It features gorgeous dark red leather throughout and has been brought into the 21st century with modern gauges and a starlight headliner. Ringbrothers has also machined bespoke billet switch gear for the Rolls-Royce and customized the floor panels to increase interior space.

“Every part of this build is brimming with detail and character,” Ringbrothers co-owner Mike Ring said. “The exterior keeps to the allure of traditional British luxury while the engine, chassis and interior all embrace a modern luxury sedan. This project combines Rolls-Royce’s past and present with a 640-horsepower American accent. We invested over 3,400 hours in fabricating, painting and engineering this project and are grateful to our partners for working with us to further our craft and allowing us to explore an entirely new realm of art form.”
