The 2024 Genesis G70 will set you back $41,500 when it arrives at dealerships in the coming weeks.

That’s an increase of $2,100 but the model comes equipped with a new turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine developing 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and 311 lb-ft (421 Nm) of torque. That’s an increase of 48 hp (36 kW / 49 PS) and 51 lb-ft (69 Nm).

That isn’t the only change as the car now comes equipped with a standard Brembo braking system. Other updates include a new Genesis emblem and a revised color palette with Kawah Blue as well as Vatna Gray. Buyers will also find a frameless rearview mirror, new climate controls, and a handful of other small updates.

Putting the model year changes aside, the entry-level G70 comes equipped with LED lighting units, a hands-free smart trunk, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Buyers will also find heated leatherette front seats with power adjustment. Other niceties include an 8-inch multi-information display, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink.

Despite its entry-level status, the car comes with a host of driver assistance systems including Smart Cruise Control, Highway Driving Assist, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist. They’re joined by Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance-Assist, Lane Keeping / Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist, Rear Occupant Alert, and Safe Exit Warning.

Customers looking for more power can opt for the G70 3.3T, which begins at $49,950. As the name suggests, it has a twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 with 365 hp (272 kW / 370 PS) and 376 lb-ft (509 Nm) of torque.

Besides the extra oomph, the G70 3.3T is better equipped as buyers will find rain sensing wipers, acoustic front door glass, and power-folding mirrors with puddle lights that project the Genesis logo onto the ground. The upgrades continue inside with heated and ventilated leather front seats, a power steering wheel, and alloy pedals. Other highlights include a wireless smartphone charger, a sunroof, and a Lexicon premium audio system.
