The entry-level Pro model now starts from $54,995, while Ford has also introduced a new Flash trim

Over the course of its existence, the Ford F-150 Lightning’s price has changed countless times, with the base price rising from $39,990 when launched to as much as $59,974, then falling back down to $49,995 last year. With a new year comes new price adjustments that will cause the prices of some models to rise, and others to fall.
At first glance, lower trim models are seeing price increases of up to $10,000, with the entry-level Pro model now priced at $55,000, a $5,000 increase from last year. Conversely, higher trim models are experiencing price reductions of as much as $7,000. Additionally, the automaker has removed the XLT extended range and Lariat standard range models while introducing the new Flash model.
“Demand for F-150 Lightning continues to grow,” Marty Gunsberg, a Ford spokesperson, told the Detroit Free Press. “The EV segment remains dynamic and we’ll continue to make adjustments.”

Ford F-150 Lightning Pricing
The move follows declarations by Ford CEO Jim Farley that the automaker had to cut costs and improve quality. By eliminating two models, it has simplified its offerings, and the price changes help compress the F-150 Lightning lineup.
The Blue Oval believes that the Platinum trim will be the only one that does not qualify for $7,500 in federal tax credits, due to its high price. It expects the bestsellers in the lineup to be the XLT and Flash trims.

The latter model is new to the lineup for 2024, and it is intended to be for tech lovers. It gets a Bang & Olufsen sound system, a 15.5-inch LCD touchscreen, wireless charging for smartphones, and all kinds of driving assistance technology, such as Pro Trailer Back Assist, Trailer Brake Control, and more.
Although the prices for the 2024 models have been revealed, it is not yet clear when they will hit dealerships. Prices have not changed for any 2023 model year F-150 Lightnings that remain on dealer lots.
