VinFast has used CES to introduce the VF 3, following its debut last summer.

Described as a “mini eSUV,” the VF 3 looks adorable and aims to appeal to young consumers “who value practicality alongside personality.” VinFast didn’t say much about the vehicle, but it features two doors, a contrasting roof, and plastic body cladding. They’re joined by “ample ground clearance” and 16-inch wheels.

In terms of size, the VF 3 measures approximately 125.6 inches (3,190 mm) long, 66.1 inches (1,679 mm) wide, and 63.8 inches (1,621 mm) tall. To put those numbers into perspective, the model is 41 inches (1,041 mm) shorter than the Jeep Renegade and nearly 17.4 inches (442 mm) shorter than the Fiat 500e.

Given the compact dimensions, it’s not surprising to learn the VF 3 is a strict four seater with a minimalist cabin. Details are limited, but VinFast said the SUV will have a 10-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. We can also expect a folding second-row, which enables the model to carry up to 19.4 cubic feet (550 liters) of luggage.

The company was coy on specifics, but they’re targeting a range in excess of 125 miles (201 km). That’s not very far but at least the VF 3 would exceed the ill-fated Mazda MX-30, which could only travel 100 miles (161 km) between charges.

The VF 3 will be offered in a variety of markets, including the United States, and we can expect to learn more in the coming months. However, it promises to be affordable as the company hinted it will be “accessible for everyone.”

Wild Pickup Could Convince Americans To Give VinFast A Try

Besides introducing the VF 3, VinFast unveiled the VF Wild pickup. Unfortunately, the company didn’t say much about the concept.

Despite that, the mid-size truck looks great and features a curvaceous front end with slender lighting units as well as a beefy skid plate. They’re joined by flowing bodywork and chunky cladding.

Other highlights include hidden door handles, digital side mirrors, and suicide rear doors. The concept also has a midgate, which enables the bed to be expanded into the cabin for extra room.
