Hyundai reveals an 1:10 scale radio-controlled version of the N Vision 74 for those who want to drive one more than they want to sit in one

Since its debut in 2022, the Hyundai N Vision 74 has caused a furor and no shortage of rumors. At first, we thought it would never become a real vehicle, then hints that it might go into production emerged and were quickly squashed, before they were revived again. We can finally say with confidence that Hyundai will sell a version of the wild concept car. However, there’s a small caveat – literally.
Yes, you can drive, drift, and do donuts in your very own N Vision 74, you just can’t get in it. That’s because Hyundai N is selling the car as a scale model. That’s the bad news. The good news is that it’s a radio-controlled scale model..
Measuring in at 18.1-inches (460 mm) in length, 7.3 inches (185 mm) in width, and 4.9 inches (125 mm) in height, the RC car is a 1:10 scale model of the N Vision 74 that has made its way around the world, stopping at car shows along the way.

Details remain scant, but Hyundai is selling them for 498,000 won (about US$370 at current exchange rates) a-piece, reports Motor1. Unfortunately, it seems the toy is only available to South Korean buyers for now. We have reached out to Hyundai USA for more details and will update this story if they get back to us.
For those not in the know, Hyundai introduced the N Vision 74 in 2022, and it pays homage to the 1974 Pony Coupe. Also a concept car, the coupe was penned by legendary designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and was intended as a sportier version of the car that introduced the brand to the world, the Pony.

The modern-day reinterpretation was envisioned as being powered by a hybrid hydrogen powertrain that electric motors and a hydrogen fuel cell. We presume the RC version will make do with a simpler, all-electric setup.
Rumors have been swirling about a production version of the N Vision 74 ever since its launch, and last we heard, Hyundai plans to put an exceedingly limited number of them onto the road. The reports claim that the automaker will make 100 examples of the car, with 30 being used exclusively for motorsports. Production is said to begin in 2026.
