The current BMW X6 isn’t going to win any beauty contests and while this new bodykit developed for it by Larte Design doesn’t do it any favors in the styling department, it certainly makes it stand out. Will that be enough to get people to buy this kit?

Larte’s kit consists of 10 individual pieces, many of which are made from lightweight composite materials, including basalt fiber which it says matches the strength and weight characteristics of carbon fiber but without the look-at-me weave. Alterations start at the front end where the German tuner has developed a new bumper for the SUV with revised air intakes and a more prominent splitter.

Elsewhere, the company has equipped the X6 with new blacked-out kidney grilles and has also fitted it with a more angular and aggressive hood. A new set of wing mirrors are also visible as are a pair of distinctive side skirts.

Would You Rock This Larte Design Kit On Your BMW X6 For $35k?

One of the most interesting new additions to the SUV is the wheels. They rock gloss black rims and are offered in 21-inch and 23-inch guises and make a seriously bold statement. The rear diffuser is similarly bold and houses a pair of extra brake lights.

Larte Design has also altered the shape of the bumper itself, allowing it to install new stacked tailpipes akin to those of the Lexus IS F, RC F, and the first-generation Ferrari California. Rounding out the upgrades made are a pair of small rear spoilers.

BMW X6 owners have the option to acquire Larte’s body kit with the standard basalt fiber construction, which can be painted to match the vehicle’s existing color. For those looking to make a more striking statement, there is the option to invest an additional 30% for carbon fiber parts, increasing the total cost of the kit to €32,300 (approximately $35,100 based on current exchange rates).

Additionally, each of the kit’s components can be purchased separately, providing flexibility for customization.
