  • This is a very rare McLaren Elva, one of only 149 ever produced and the only one ever seen with this specific white and red color scheme.
  • It boasts a powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine good for 804 horsepower.
  • With only 7 miles on the odometer, this Elva is practically brand new and is expected to fetch a high price at auction.

Few brands excel at producing limited-run models quite like McLaren, and among the array of special editions introduced over the years, the Elva stands out as one of the most desirable.

Only 149 examples of the Elva were ever produced. Like other models from McLaren’s Ultimate Series range, customers were provided with near-endless options to customize their cars from the factory. This particular Elva, uniquely specced, is the sole one of its kind we’ve seen, and it will soon be auctioned off by SBX Cars.

What makes this Elva stand out from most others? For starters, it is painted in a shade of gloss white that extends across most of the exterior, including the vents on the hood and even the wheels. Contrasting the white paint are red accents on the sides and across the rear fascia, including the complex diffuser.

Moreover, you’ll find plenty of exposed carbon fiber found across the supercar’s body. The exterior looks so good that the car’s next owner may be scared to drive it for fear of damaging the paint

There’s plenty to like about the interior of this Elva too. The seats are upholstered in red leather, featuring white piping and contrast stitching for a dynamic touch. Reflecting its raw driver-focused nature, the rest of the cabin maintains a minimalist aesthetic, highlighted by abundant carbon fiber accents and a white dashboard that complements the exterior.

At the heart of the Elva lies a lightweight carbon fiber monocoque, enabling this open-air speedster to tip the scales at a featherweight 2,641 lbs (1,198 kg). Powering it is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine, generating 804 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, which propels the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

McLaren claims that the Elva can sprint from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in under three seconds and from zero to 124 mph (200 km/h) in just 6.7 seconds, meaning it’s faster than the track-focused Senna. Not too shabby.

The listing reveals that this Elva has only been driven 7 miles (11.2 km), undoubtedly making it one of the lowest mileage units globally. It is located in Riedering, Germany, but we assume it could easily be exported elsewhere.

When it was new, the Elva set back buyers a minimum of $1.69 million. A handful have hit the used car market over the past few years, but many have gone unsold at public auctions. The most recent auction sale of an Elva occurred in November last year, and it fetched $1.51 million.

If you’ve got a spare fortune lying around and fancy spending it on something extravagant, feel free to check out the listing on SBX Cars here.
