What Do You Think Of This Hyundai Grandeur Rendering?

This is an independent rendering by KKS Studio and is not related to nor endorsed by Hyundai.

Hyundai is working on a new Grandeur sedan and while it has only been spied covered in camouflage, we know that it will look very different than the current model. This rendering shows how it could look.

A prototype for the new Grandeur was spied testing in Korea late last year and it is clear that the car manufacturer wants to make a statement with its design. Among the most striking aspects of that prototype was its front fascia which appears to have taken inspiration from the Staria.

In creating a rendering of the new Grandeur, KKS Studio took design inspiration from the Staria, crafting a full-width LED light bar for the sedan. In addition, the main headlights are similar in shape to those of the Staria, albeit slightly smaller. A grille inspired by that of the Staria’s also catches the eye.

The overall shape of the Grandeur featured in these renderings is also quite interesting. There is a prominent design line running from the outer edge of the front LED light bar along the tops of the doors and continuing right through to the edge of the taillights. The prototype spied in December also had a small window behind the C-pillar and this is also featured in this rendering.

Although KKS Studio has not imagined the Grandeur from the rear, it is expected to feature pixel LEDs somewhat similar to the ones on the Staria and the Ioniq 5.

The current sixth-generation Grandeur has been in production since 2016 and this new model will probably sit on a revised platform. Powertrain details remain a mystery but will likely include a host of new options.
