The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla Finally Gets A Configurator, What Does Yours Look Like?

The Toyota GR Corolla has generated a huge amount of buzz among enthusiasts over the past six months and while customer deliveries have yet to commence, those eagerly awaiting an opportunity to drive the car can now configure it online.

U.S. customers have three variants to choose from; the Core available from $35,900, the Circuit Edition starting at $42,900, and the Morizo Edition priced from $49,900. As impressive as the entry-level GR Corolla Core is, we think the sweet spot in the range is the Circuit Edition, so that’s the model we chose when configuring the punchy hot hatch.

Just three exterior colors are available for the Circuit Edition, namely Ice Cap, Heavy Metal, and Supersonic Red, the latter two of which are $425 options. Interestingly, there are no available packages for the Circuit Edition but there are 14 different accessories that can be ordered.

Shoppers wanting a little more scope for personalization would be wise to opt for the Core. It can be ordered with a $500 Cold Weather Package, a $770 Technology Package, $1,180 Performance Package that adds limited-slip differentials, a $1,270 Technology Package with options, a $1,650 Performance Package with options, a $1,950 Performance Package with options, and a $2,450 Performance Package with options.

Among the key accessories available across the range include all-weather floor liners, door sill protectors, carpet floor mats, and roof rack cross bars.

Found beneath the hood of all GR Corolla variants is a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder that pumps out 300 hp and 273 lb-ft (370 Nm), giving it a power advantage over the likes of the Hyundai Elantra N and Subaru WRX. This engine is mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission and a GR-Four all-wheel drive system. Front and rear limited-slip differentials are available as standard on both the Circuit Edition and Morizo Edition, in addition to being an optional extra on the Core.
